Various Vincennes Groups Part of Summer Food Program

Various Vincennes groups are joining as part of the annual Summer Food program across the city. The program offers breakfast and lunch at various locations for free to those 18 and under. Those who are handicapped and over 18 may also get the meals for free. Otherwise, the meals are two dollars for adults.
One group participating this year is the Vincennes Parks Department. City Parks director Steve Beamon says they have joined up with Vincennes Community Schools and others to offer the program…

The food service at Gregg Park started Monday. Beamon knows they had a good crowd to start things at the beginning of the week…

The summer food program is open to all who wish to take part in the activity.
