The South Knox School Board has approved summer school plans for this year. The classes will be approved automatically if they have at least 15 students.
The Board is scheduled to hire the summer school teachers next month, and open bids for summer school routes on May first. The bus bid awards and added hiring would happen on May 13th.
In other business, the Board approved the proper disposal of a set of obsolete books from South Knox Elementary. Finally, Board members approved an agreement with the Isaiah 1:17 House to give out Bags of Hope. The material will be given to any South Knox students entering the foster care system.
All the motions were approved unanimously.
