Today marks a lifting of the Governor’s restriction on facilities in parks across Indiana– meaning the City Parks facilities will also re-open today. That means the, pickleball courts, restrooms, and shelterhouses will be back in place, along with the Skate Park. However, the playgrounds will NOT be open, due to an order from Governor Holcomb. The Governor will set a time for playground re-opening at a later date.
At the Vincennes Parks Board meeting, director Steve Beaman told the Board various yard signs will be placed around the parks, reminding everyone of social distancing and health advice. The parks opening is part of Phase 3 of Governor Holcomb’s re-opening of the State of Indiana.
