
The Indiana Department of Transportation has awarded Knox County just under 400-thosuand dollars for upcoming projects. The funding was given out by the state as part of the Community Crossings Matching Grant program. Also in Knox County, Monroe City received a shade under 60-thosuand dollars for its infrastructure work.
The largest award in the area is for Greene County; they received just under a million dollars for infrastructure improvements. The City of Linton also received over 420-thosuand dollars, Bloomfield got over 126-thousand dollars, and Patoka received just over 79-thousand dollars.
The funding came from an INDOT project call made in October of last year.
