The Vincennes Community School Board approved a number of curriculum and process changes and clarifications for the E Learning plan for the local school system. E Learning at Vincennes has been used successfully a number of times when in school face to face classes were cancelled during the pandemic and because of the recent heavy snows. Now it will be used as the automatic replacement of in person instruction when schools have unplanned closings. The expanded E Learning effort will require more equipment to be made available so all students have access to the internet based program at their homes. Grant money will pay for the equipment. The School Board also approved some changes and clarifications to the Pre-Kindergarten program at Vigo School and approved a new mentor program at Washington Learning Academy that will use physical activity as its foundation.
