Schools to Require Masking Through Rest of School Year

Indiana’s statewide mask mandate is now downgraded to an advisory. Local governments can still put mask requirements in place, or limit the size of gatherings. Masks are still required in K through 12 schools for the rest of the academic year and in state government buildings. Indianapolis is keeping its mask requirement in place, but Hamilton and Johnson counties are no longer requiring residents to wear masks.
