Economic development leaders in Knox County are working with the responses from a recent broadband survey across the county. The survey is designed to show areas of biggest need of broadband Internet in the county.
Knox County Indiana Economic Development director Chris Pfaff says they have fewer surveys than they wanted– but that they can work with what they have. Pfaff plans to take the county’s broadband map, and coordinate it with overall state and federal Internet access maps.
In addition to the local survey, the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Development– or OCRA– is also doing a broadband survey. Anyone wishing to get involved in the statewide survey should contact OCRA through their Website.
