Knox, Gibson Counties in Orange Covid Status– Two of Only Four in Indiana

After a spike in Covid-19 figures through the week, Knox County has lowered its total case number to three.  However, the County’s positive Covid percent is at 12.1 percent.  Knox and Gibson counties are in Orange status — or the second-highest Covid level status this week.  The two counties are only two of four across Indiana in Orange Covid alert status.  Two other area counties — Sullivan and Pike — are in Yellow status, while Daviess, Greene, and Martin Counties are in Blue.
Gibson County’s Covid numbers remain high, as the county added 12 more Covid cases.  Its percentage is down a bit overall, with a 19.7 percent positive rate.  Greene County joined Knox with three more cases; Sullivan and Pike Counties added one each; and Martin County had another Covid-free report.
The Covid numbers are released each weekday by the Indiana State Department of Health.
