Harvest time is here, and drivers are reminded to watch out for vehicles in the fields gathering this year’s crop. In the last report, in 2020, three harvest-related crashes resulted in two deaths across Indiana.
Drivers are reminded to be patient around farm equipment, watch for slower-moving vehicles, and watch for vehicles parked near the roadway. That includes semi-trucks and trailers used sometimes in harvest activity. Harvest activities are expected to continue throughout the coming weeks, and throughout the fall months.
