(Girls Basketball Recap)
Checking Girls Basketball action from last night, Vincennes Lincoln went  on the road and
beat Washington 59-43.  Ari Gerkin led the 4-2 Lady Alices with 21 points.  Gracie Kramer added
13.
North Knox had no problem with Evansville Christian 63-40.  Brynna Collins led 7-0 North Knox with
18  points.  Lexi Primus had 13 points and Brooklyn Sturgeon 12.
South Knox lost at Linton 52-40.  Bren Hill led 4-3 South Knox with 13 points.

(Boys’ Basketball Starts Tonight)
The Boys high school season got underway last night and it was a tough opener for Vincennes Rivet, falling
to 3-A Mount Vernon 64-18.  Tommy Herman had 12 points for the Patriots.

Evansville Christian beat Northeast Dubois 62-52
Eastern Greene downed North Central 48-43
The other three Knox County Boys Basketball teams open up play tonight.  Vincennes Lincoln hits the road to Pike Central.  Game time is 7:30
and you can hear the game on WZDM and wzdm.com.  South Knox will travel to Sullivan.  It’s a 7:30 tip time and you can catch that game at WUZR 105.7fm.
And North Knox opens up at home tonight against White River Valley.  That too will have a 7:30 tip time on WAOV 97.7fm and 97.3fm.

(Junior High recap)
In middle school action…The Clark 8th grade girls basketball team beat Jasper 27-20.  Alivia Eaton had 11 points for Clark.  Jasper won the 7th grade game 31-10.  Lilly Wehrman scored six for CMS.
