IHSAA Sectional Action Continues Tonight Across the Area

Boys Basketball Sectional action got underway last night around the area.
At the North Knox 2-A sectional….South Knox beat Sullivan 47-35.  For 17-7…Dakota Candler had 18 points.  The Spartans move on to Friday nights semi-finals against Eastern Greene.
At the Loogootee Class A sectional…the host Lions hit 17 3-pointers to eliminate Vincennes Rivet 88-30.  Tommy Herman finished his career with 16 points.  The Patriots exit at 4-18.
At the Washington 3-A sectional…Heritage Hills downed Southridge 42-37.
At the Boonville 3-A sectional… Boonville beat Mount Vernon 58-49.
Mater Dei tripped up Bosse 58-57.
At the Tell City 2-A C Sectional…North Posey suprised South Spencer 58-56.
At the Wood Memorial Class A Sectional…Evansville Christian rallied past Wood Memorial 48-46. Day School popped Cannelton 89-34.
At White River Valley…Bloomington Lighthouse downed Shakamak 60-50.
And 4-A action at Evansville North…Reitz buried Castle 63-41. Jasper trimmed Harrison 51-48.

At Washington….4-18 Vincennes Lincoln take on 13-9 Princeton.  Tip off is set for 6:30 and you can hear the game here on WZDM and wzdm.com.  Game two has 13-9 Pike Central taking on 20-5 North Daviess.
At North Knox…4-19 North Knox takes on 6-17 Mitchell.  The Night cap has 18-5 Paoli squaring off against 23-1 Linton.  You can hear both games beginning at 5:45 on 105.7fm….WUZR.
At Loogootee…7-15 Springs Valley meets 3-18 Washington Catholic.  Game two has 11-11 Shoals playing 20-3 Orleans.
