The German-American Bancorp Board of Directors has named current Chief Executive Officer Neil Dauby to become the Board’s chairman. The current chair, Mark Schroeder, is retiring. Also, Brad Rust will become the president of both the bank and its holding company.
Dauby has been with German-American since 2001, while Rust joined the company in 1999. Both men were promoted on January first of 2022 — Dauby to Chief Executive Officer, and Rust to Chief Operating Officer. In addition to his president’s duties, Rust will also continue to serve as German-American’s Chief Financial Officer.
