The United Way of Knox County will host its Days of Caring this Thursday and Friday across the county. Various work groups will be out both days helping those in need across the county. The volunteers will gather both days at Vincennes’ First Baptist Church. United Way of Knox County director Mark Hill says several groups will be part of the overall team effort.
The Days of Caring also includes a food drive at various grocery stores around the area. Those include the Walmart, Jay-C, and Save-a-Lot locations in Vincennes. However, Hill reminds everyone there is also a drop-off location targeted for Bicknell, at the Dollar General Market on State Road 67.
There will also be a South Knox collection site– at the Monroe City Dollar General location. Collections at all those locations will run from four to seven p-m both Thursday and Friday.
