A Teen Center is about to open up in the basement of the current Old Town Players’ facility at Fifth and Broadway in Vincennes.  The center is designed to give a place for teens to gather in the hours immediately after school.  A ribbon cutting on the Center is set for 11 am Wednesday.
Steve Gray is helping with the process.  He says the idea is to use a building that otherwise sits empty.  Gray believes the Center will help deter problems caused by unsupervised youth, due to a set of working parents.
The O-T-P basement area is being renovated and modified to serve as a welcoming place for the after-school based program.
