Indiana State Police are advising motorist that sections of US 41 will be shut down this afternoon to make way for motorcyclists who are traveling from California to Washington D.C. to visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
The group is scheduled to stop at the Flying J Travel Center at US 41 and Warrenton Road around 2:15 p.m. Central time. That is near U-S 41’s interchange with I-64.
They will be there for roughly 45 minutes before leaving around 3 o’clock.
The U.S. 41 north and southbound lanes will be closed in 15-minute segments during those times.
