The Triple A Motor Club says the average price of gas in Indiana Thursday stood at $3.16 a gallon, two cents lower than Wednesday and four cents lower than Thursday’s national average, It was also ten cents lower than a week ago, 10 cents higher than a month ago, and 15 cents lower than a year ago. Vincennes prices are dropping a bit in recent days, shrinking back to around 3-10 a gallon. The least expensive gas in Indiana can be found in Evansville, with some prices just over 2-60 a gallon at last report.
Triple A also says the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana Thursday was $3.74 a gallon, a penny lower than Wednesday. It was also two cents lower than a week ago, four cents higher than a month ago, and 64 cents lower than a year ago.
