Marsha Sue (Small) Erban passed away on July 18, 2025, in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Born on July 9, 1946, in Washington, Indiana, Marsha’s loving and caring spirit radiated bright throughout her 79 years.
Married to her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Erban, Marsha’s love, and devotion to her family were at the core of her existence. She was a nurturing mother to her son, Brian (Melissa) Small, and a caring stepmother to Keith and Jeremy Erban, and a cherished sister to Joe (Darlene) Small and Kevin (Marla) Small. Her role as a grandmother was one, she embraced with all her heart, leaving a legacy of tender memories for her seven grandchildren, including Morgan (Sean) Reiner, step-grandchildren Kylie, Corey, and Juliana Erban, and her three great-grandchildren, who filled her life with joy and purpose. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph “Malcolm” and Virginia “Ruth” Small.
Prior to retiring, Marsha spent most of her career working in an upscale boutique, where her impeccable taste and kind spirit made every customer feel special. Her passion for fashion and jewelry was more than a profession—it showed her kind nature and her love for beautiful things.
She had a deep affection for her beloved cat, Sassy, who was her constant companion. Marsha also held a special place in her heart for sea turtles, admiring their grace and resilience—qualities she herself embodied. Her happiest moments were those shared with her husband of 23 years, and she cherished every moment spent with her family and friends.
As we mourn the loss of Marsha Sue Erban, we also celebrate a life abundantly lived and lovingly given.
