Blood Need is Up in Indiana

      The American Red Cross is facing a critical blood shortage as the demand for blood from hospitals has increased by 35 percent in the last month.
      The agency is especially in need of platelets and Type O, A Negative, and B Negative blood.
      Longtime donors and Red Cross workers are urging people to donate now to help save lives.
      Every pint of blood donated can help save three lives.
