Rivet Moves On, LHS, NK Go Home on Night One of Sectionals

The Vincennes Linocln Alices were eliminated in a close game at the Hatchet House, as the home team Washington Hatchets dfeated them 38-33.  Colton Duke led for LHS with 12,  Vincennes Lincoln ends the season at 12-13.

The North Knox Warriors were within five, but a 20-8 fourth quarter carries the West Vigo Vikings on to Friday night, as they win 54-36.  Will Trabant led the Warriors with 14 points.  The Warriors finish their season at 6-17.

The Vincennes Rivet Patiots opened up a two point hialftime lead to defeat Medora, 59-52.  Henry Holka led three in double figures with 14, while Brady Stearns scored 13, and Philip Herman scored 11.  Rivet will now face Orleans on Friday night at 6 pm in Game 1 of the Loogootee Sectional semifinals.  You can hear that game on 97.7, WZOV.

South Knox will play Linton Friday inght in the North Knox Sectional.  Linton defeated Eastern Greene in Game 1 last night 79-63.  That game will be on 105,7 the Ride WUZR.
