Eleven students will split over 19-thousand dollars in scholarships through the Daviess Community Hospital’s Health Career Scholarships. Since the program started, 234 students have shared over 265-thousand dollars in grants toward their health and professional studies.
The largest scholarship is five-thousand dollars to Washington’s Jacqueline Shots. She works in the Hospital’s Acute Care unit, and is graduating with a nursing degree from Ivy Tech in Bloomington.
Other award winners include Marydith Borders, Hanna Skomp, Lindsey Nolan, Elaina Sellers, Hannah Yoder, Kasey Freed, Katie Sites, Makayla Ervin, Ellie Allen, Catherine Van Der Aa, and Maeli Stoll.
