A Vincennes man is facing a drug charge following a traffic stop for an equipment violation late Tuesday night at the intersection of Highland Road and Middle Hart Street Road in Knox County.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says K9 Blast alerted deputies to the presence of illegal narcotics in the vehicle.
A search turned up 1.2 grams of methamphetamine.
The driver, 43-year-old Eric Evans, was booked into the Knox County Jail on a preliminary charge of Possession of Methamphetamine.
He was later released on $500 bond.
