In Baseball:
The Vincennes Lincoln Alices took the lead in the third inning, and led onto it as they defeated Evansville Harrison 5-3. Cooper Collins led the way at the plate with a 3 for 3 game, including a triple. Justice Johnson went the entire route, giving up 8 hits and striking out six.
In softball:
It’s now 15 in a row for the Vincennes Lincoln softball team, as they defeat Evansville Central 17-5. The Lady Alices started and ended the game well, with five runs in the first and sevcn in the seventh.
Mia Hagood led the way for LHS with four of the Lady Alices’ 18 hits in the game. Olivia Lewis also addd three runs batted in at the plate.
The South Knox softball team defeated Washington 17-2 yesterday. Braelyn Gladish had a 4 for 5 game, while scoring five runs. Cadie Goss also drove in four for the Lady Spartans. The win went to South Knox pitcher Kenna Rehwald, with a complete game three-hitter.
In tennis:
Vincennes Lincoln dropped a 3-2 decisino to Princeton. L-H-S tennis winners were Maddie Mitchell at Number 2 singles, and the Number 1 doubles team of J.J Riggs and Peyton Riggs.
The South Knox Lady Spartans stay undefeated in tennis, with a 5-0 win over North Daviess. Alli Hayden, Reagan Harrington, and Elaina Watjen were all singles winners, with the doubles pairs of Halle Carmean and Emily Dreiman, and Addy Heiden and Addy Marchino also winning.
