Area Prices Reflect State Averages

The Triple A Motor Club says the average price of gas in Indiana on Sunday was $4.83 per gallon, 1¢ lower than Saturday and 38¢ higher than Sunday’s national average of $4.45 per gallon.
      It was also $1.05 higher than a week ago, 90¢ higher than a month ago, and $1.61 higher than a year ago.  In Vincennes, the prices range from around 4-85 to 4-90 per gallon in many places.
      Meanwhile Triple-A says the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana on Sunday was $6.01 a gallon, 5¢ higher than Saturday and 75¢ higher than a week ago.
      It was also 81¢ higher than a month ago and $2.42 higher than a year ago.
      And the average EV charging price in Indiana on Sunday was 42¢ per kilowatt hour, the same as Saturday and the same as Sunday’s national average.
