The Pike County Prosecutor’s Office says a teacher at Pike Central High School has been charged with Level 6 Felony charges of Obstruction of Justice and Official Misconduct.
46-year-old Abigail Vinnedge was issued a summons for her appearance for arraignment at a later date.
No further details are being released at this time.
A Level 6 Felony is punishable by a term of imprisonment between six months and 2 ½ years and a fine of up to $10,000.
