Charlotte Ann (Carrico) Stinebaugh, 83, of Bicknell, Indiana, passed away on May 24, 2026, in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on June 27, 1942, in Freelandville, Indiana, and lived a life marked by devotion to her family, her church, and the many simple joys that made her days meaningful.

Charlotte graduated from Freelandville High School and carried that foundation into her life. She worked as a homemaker and took great pride in caring for her family and home. In her younger years, she delivered newspapers on a paper route in Freelandville, and she also spent time hanging wallpaper, showing the kind of hardworking spirit and determination that stayed with her throughout her life.

On July 15, 1961, Charlotte married the love of her life, Gordon Stinebaugh, in Elnora, Indiana. Together, they built a family and a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured the people closest to her.

Charlotte especially loved her grandchildren and made it a point to attend all of their activities whenever she could. Her presence was a constant source of encouragement and support, and her family knew they could always count on her to be there. She enjoyed cooking Sunday meals for her family, a tradition that brought everyone together and showed the warmth and care she gave so freely. She also loved camping and traveling, and she found joy in the adventures and memories created along the way.

She was a member of the Card Club, the Delts, and the Freelandville Methodist Church. These connections were an important part of her life, and she valued the friendships and fellowship she found through them. Charlotte’s faith and community ties reflected her kind heart and her commitment to the people around her.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Rusty Stinebaugh (Kim) of Bicknell, Indiana; Kathy Holscher (Larry) of Vincennes, Indiana; and Karen Farris (Jim) of Vincennes, Indiana. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amy Decker (Brandon), Amanda Toth, Abby Stinebaugh (Becca), Luke Holscher, Levi Holscher (Chelsea), Lance Holscher (Haley), Kara Holscher-Morris (Christopher), Kyle Farris (Kelsie), Jacob Farris (Megan), and Holly Bruner (David), along with her twenty great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Stinebaugh; her parents, Everett and Kathleen (Ashby) Carrico; and her brother, Cliff Carrico. Charlotte’s life was one of love, dedication, and quiet strength, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
