In baseball:
A single run in the seventh was enough for the North Knox Warriors to defeat the host Linton Miners 3-2 at the Linton baseball sectional. Two wild pitches allowed Carter Becher to score the eventual winning run in the top of the seventh.
Levi Pahmeier turned in a stellar complete game outing, as he allowed seven hits and two runs, while striking out 11 and walking only one. The Warriors take on Sullivan in the second semi-final on Monday at 1 pm; hear the game on 105.7 WUZR. The first semifinal that day pits Eastern Greene against West Vigo. Sullivan advanced with a 5-3 win over Barr-Reeve in game 2 last night.

The Vincennes Lincoln Alices get into semifinal action, as they face Gibson Southern. You can hear that game tonight on 92.1, WZUM. The other semifinal pits Washington against Southridge.
