Area drivers are reminded of lane closures starting Monday on Hart Street at U-S 41.
The INDOT-based closure will happen on alternating lanes between Kimmel Road and Veterans’ Memorial Drive. The closed lanes will allow for work on the Hart Street overpass over U-S 41. Lane closures will also affect the interchange ramps at Hart Street and 41. Traffic stgnals will remain on during the work, but could move to flashing four-way stops as needed.
Weather allowing, the Hart Street work will continue through at least June and July. It is part of an overall INDOT project to improve U-S 41 from Kelso Creek in Vincennes southward to State Road 241 near Decker.
