It took two swings of the bat– a two run homer in the third, and a grand slam in the fourth–to eliminate the North Knox Warriors, 7=4, at the hands of the Sullivan Golden Arrows.
Hunter Mason got the win for Sullivan, while Kason Oxby took the loss for the Warriors. Kason Oxby was relieving for Rylan Oxby; he was struck in the right eye area on a comebacker by a Sullivan player. Rylan Oxby was able to leave the field under hs own power.
Sullivan ended up winning the Sectional title last night, with a 6=1 victory over West Vigo. The Vikings made it to the final with a 10-1 win over Eastern Greene yesterday morning.
