The North Knox School Board will meet Friday to determine a new coach for the North Knox boys’ basketball team. That session will be held at 6:15 pm at the Corporation’s Administration Center.

The meeting is a public session, so everyone is invited to attend.

North Knox High School will offer free physicals again for athletic teams in the coming school year.  The physical exams will be given at North Knox High School this Saturday from eight to 11 am.

The exams will be for North Knox student-athletes entering grades five through twelve.  The physical form is required for students to participate in North Knox athletic teams and events during the coming school year.

All students and parents must log into finalForms-dot-com, and complete the physical registry, before students will be allowed to participate.  All those forms will be on file with the North Knox School Corporation.

Blue Chip Conference champ South Knox placed five players on the Blue Chip All-Conference team for this year.  The Spartans were undefeated in conference play, and wound up the season with only one team loss.

South Knox had all three of its singles players represented, with All Hayden, Reagan Harrington, and Elaina Watjen on the list, along with the doubles team of Haille Carmean and Emily Dreiman.  Rivet’s Bridget Stine was also named all-conference.

Other all-conference performers were Barr-Reeve’s Brylee Fuhrman, Annison Kelso, and Belen Navarro; Logootee’s Lydia Hawkins and Macy Knepp, and Northeast Dubois’ Holly Wyland.
