Daviess County will host a “Murals of Honor” display from now through the the end of this month.  The murals are provided by noted artist and veteran Izzy Reyes.

Today and tomorrow, the murals will be posted in the Daviess County Historical Museum window in downtown Washington.  After that, the murals will be hosted by the Washington Commons on Main Street on Sunday, and Daviess Community Hospital on Monday. Tuesday, they will be displayed at Eastside Park in Washington.  The traveling murals will visit Odon and West Boggs Park near Loogootee later in the month.

The group Murals of Honor is a non-profit group honoring military veterans, first responders, and their families.  Activities at each location include painting demonstrations, community engagement, and art work highlighting the nation’s 250th birthday.
