The City of Vincennes has paused its state-funded paving at this time. Work is expected to return later this summer into the fall.
Vincennes City Engineer John Sprague says E and B Paving—the group that one the City’s paving bid—has already done some work around Vincennes. Sprague tells us a change in state paving plans earlier this year led the pause.
The earlier work was on South Sixth Street from Willow southward to the Vincennes City Limits. It is designed to better handle heavy truck traffic on that part of the roadway.
