The group “Being for Others” has named several groups as recipients of their latest set of grant funds. Eleven groups will receive 137-thousand, 500 dollars for various activities.
The largest grant was 15-thousnd dollars; that was given to Washington Cahtolic Schools for their Project Youth First. That is a social program to give more access to counseling, family support, and other social needs.
Other area groups to get funded include Barr-Reeve Schools; the Daviess County Economic Development Corporation; Shoals Community Schools; and the West Boggs Park Foundation.
Cycle Two of the 2026 B-F-O grant process is now open. The organization will accept grant applications from now through July 27th.
