Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum has traveled out of the country in the last couple of weeks, as part of a combination diplomatic and business tour. Longtime Mayoral assistant Cheryl Hacker says part of the trip is a “sister city” journey to Europe, to Wasserburg, Germany, and Vincennes, France. Another part of the trip has included a visit to glass producer Schott’s headquarters in Germany. Schott has a factory presence on the north side of Vincennes. Hacker admits although still active, the office is a bit quieter with the boss gone.
Since it is in part a business trip, K-C-I-E-D dreictor Chris Pfaff accompanied the Mayor on the European journey.
