The North Knox School Board has accepted a 24-hundred dollar donation from the United Way of Knox County for its annual Kindergarten Jump Start program. The session is, in a sense, an orientation to the child’s first experience with school. Also last night, the Board approved the contracts of various teachers to handle this July’s Jump Start program.
In other business, the Board approved an extension of their agreement with PACE Community Action Agency. The extension allows the partnership to continue the same as it has in previous years. Finally, the Board agreed to a request to keep school lunch process the same the next two years. That means the current school lunch price will stay the same as it has the last two years.
All of the motions passed unanimously.
