The City of Vincennes is preparing for a Fourth of July weekend display of the Memorial Wall at the Vincennes Riverwalk. The display is a traveling remembrance of the men who fought and died in recent American wars.
Vincennes Mayor’s Office chief of staff Cheryl Hacker says the memorial is a rather big display. Hacker says the July third ceremony will be the official opening of the Memorial Wall—but technically, it will be open for viewing the day before.
The Wall’s starting point will be hear the Main Street entrance to the Riverwalk, and spread northward along the pathway from there.
