The Gibson County Fair is celebrating a milestone this year.
It’s the 170th year of the fair, making it the longest-running county fair in Indiana.
The fair opened over the weekend after a parade through Princeton celebrating the nation’s 250th Independence Day.
It runs through Saturday.
Gibson County Fairgrounds Manager Charles Woodruff says the anniversary has made this year’s event special, with commemorative coins, shirt patches and fireworks added to the celebration.
