Short Supplies of Salt Possible In Case of Bad Winter

It may be the middle of summer, but Vincennes City officials are looking at a possible shortage of road salt for this winter.

Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum says the problem is in the  supply from their main salt provider.  Mayor Yochum says the City can make it on the salt they have now—IF the winter isn’t a bad one.

Due to the severity of last winter, salt supplies are running lower than normal at this point.
