The Knox County Fair is about to bet underway at the Fairgrounds in Bicknell. The annual 4-H fair begins Monday, and will run from then to Saturday, August first.
One of the new aspects to the Fair this year is a advance=purchase Midway voucher. Purdue Extension educator Valerie Clingerman is helping with the Fair this year; she suggests that as a great way to save on midway tickets. Clingerman says her duty next week will focus on the 4-H portion of the Knox County Fair’s events.
Various animal and livestock shows, along with 4-H Open Class exhibits, will be featured as a vital part of the Fair’s activities starting Monday. Also, the annual 4-H Fair Queen contest will help start off the activities on Monday night. The contest will be held in its traditional location in the Vincennes University pavilion.
