Work continues at full speed on the coming Amazon fulfillment center in the U-S 41 Industrial Park south of Vincennes. At this time, Amazon officials hope the center is up and running by this Christmas season.
KCIED director Chris Pfaff says the construction speed of the project has been amazing to him. Pfaff also knows the call for around 170 jobs for the center will be coming soon.
The center will be a so-called “last mile” location. In other words, the Vincennes location will be the final stop for Amazon packages, before they are sent to homes in this immediate area.
