Beginning on Monday, the Indiana Department of Transportation announced two Greene County road closures for chip-and-seal maintenance.
U.S. 231/State Road 67 will close between Terre Haute Street and the U.S. 231/S.R. 67 intersection near Worthington.
Drivers should use S.R. 157, S.R. 54, and S.R. 57 as the official detour.
S.R. 57 will also close between S.R. 54 and Seventh Street near Newberry.
The detour for that closure follows S.R. 54, U.S. 231, I-69, and S.R. 58.
Local traffic will have access during both closures.
Both projects are expected to take about one week, weather permitting.
