Massive flooding in northern and eastern Indiana is not forecast to make much of a dent in river levels in this yarea.
At this time, the Wabash at Vincennes and at Mount Carmel are forecast to top out at or near flood stage before falling rapidly. The White River at Edwardsport and at Petersburg could see minor flooding, up to four feet over flood stage. Both rivers are forecast to crest in this area on Thursday of next week.
Even with the relatively low flood levels, drivers and others in low-lying areas are still urged to watch for water covering roads near the rivers.
