Knox County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Maryland man yesterday following an accident on U-S 50 near Vincennes.
Officers responded to the accident at U-S 50 and Hebert Road. No information on the accident itself has been released at this time, except that it did result in a serious bodily injury.
During the investigation, authorities arrested 36 year-old Gregory Bridgemon for operating while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury. Authorities also allege he refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test, and was driving while suspended.
Bridgemon was booked into the Knox County Jailon five-thousand dollars bond.
