The Knox County Public Library will increase its budget by three percent for 2027, in a budget estimate presented to the County Library Board. The increase is the first for the Library since its 2022 budget.
A public hearing will be held on the budget proposal at the beginning of the coming board session on Tuesday, September 15th. Following the required hearing, the Board can then vote on the increased amount during the meeting afterward.
