The Knox County Commissioners accepted a bid from E and B Paving for repairs to some county roads damaged as part of an unofficial detour. The accepted bid came in for just under 122-thousand dollars.
The affected roads include Thompson Road, Coon Hunter Road, and Old Bruceville Road. They were used as a bypass for INDOT work on State Road 67 near Bruceville. Knox County Highway Department personnel told the Commissioners that INDOT crews would reimburse the County for the expense to fix the affected county roads.
The E and B bid was approved unanimously.
