University of Evansville sophomore basketball player Jordan Scott died Sunday after a vehicle crash in Warrick County. Scott transferred to Evansville after playing basketball at Wabash Valley College. She graduated from Castle High School in 2025. Officials said Scott had taken a friend home Sunday night and was driving in an unfamiliar area when she crashed into a pole near Boonville.
