A Washington man was arrested Saturday afternoon after he was found in a vehicle in Lawrence County, Illinois that had been involved in a police chase that began in Washington.
After the pursuit was terminated near the Mid-American Air Center in Lawrence County, the vehicle was found out of gas near the airport with 20-year-old Ted Petite-Frere of Washington inside.
He was arrested for outstanding Warrants out of Daviess County for Theft of a Firearm, a Petition to Revoke, and Failure to Appear.
Police say the matter is pending investigation, and additional criminal charges will be submitted to the Daviess County Prosecutor’s Office.
