The Vincennes City Council has approved a renewal of a bond issue to purchase a new fire truck for the Vincennes Fire Department. The renewal is part of an ongoing rotation of fire vehicles for City firefighters.
Vincennes City Council president Brian Grove knows the time frame is long, due to the special equipping of each truck—especially when housed at Vincennes’ oldest and smallest firehouse.
City officials use the renewed bond issues for equipment for both the City Fore Department, and the City Police Department.
