With heavy hearts, we announce that God has called his favorite angel Keith Tyler Lane Walton home. Keith , age 9, was born on March 16, 2017, in Washington, IN the son of Perry and Krystal (Holzmiller) Walton. Keith was a joyful soul whose laughter and innocence touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Keith was a cherished member of the Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene, where Sundays brought him pure delight. He so much enjoyed going to church every Sunday.

A young boy with dreams as vast as the skies, he found joy in playing baseball, riding his bicycle with abandon, and exploring the enchanting worlds of Minecraft. His boundless energy and love for adventure endeared him to his family and friends.

In 4-H, he thrived, nurturing goats and rabbits with pride and affection, an embodiment of his gentle spirit and nurturing heart. To his father, he was “Little Buddy,” a name that echoed warmth and camaraderie, and to his mother, “Little Man,” a title wrapped in love and tenderness.

Keith leaves behind a lasting legacy etched in the hearts of those who loved him: his devoted parents, Perry and Krystal Walton of Monroe City; sister, Ashlynn Walton; maternal grandmother, Melinda Pea; paternal grandparents, Angela Burton and Chris Walton; paternal great grandmother, Nancy Allen; his aunts, Keya Holzmiller, Toni Walton, Ashley Norris. Uncles, Heath “Uncle He He” Holzmiller, Cody Walton, Christopher Walton and Michael Walton. Keith is preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Keith Holzmiller and Denny Pea

Funeral Services for Keith will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene, 1902 Main St., Vincennes, IN 47591 with Rev. Donnie Stamper officiating. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Keith and his family.
