Indiana property taxpayers are reminded of the property tax payment deadline on Tuesday, November tenth. Any taxes not received by the end of business that day, or postmarked by November tenth, will take on a penalty for late payment. Any mailed payments must include a self-addressed stamped envelope for return of a receipt.
The forms may be taken in person to your county treasurer’s office. In Knox County, that office is located in the Knox County Courthouse in Vincennes. Also, Knox County Treasurer Cendy Joslin reminds everyone the Knox County Courthouse, as well as the Treasurer’s office, is closed tomorrow for Election Day.
