Early voting continues at a strong pace, one day ahead of tomorrow’s Election Day voting. The strong voting has been evident in this area in both Knox and Daviess counties.
According to the Daviess County Voter Registration Office, 524 voters cast ballots at three early voting sites on Saturday. (No Knox County figures are available yet, but reports have shown heavier than normal early voting in the county as well.)
The office reports that total in-person voting reached 2,435, representing a 14% turnout. (Today is the last day for early voting, with those centers open until noon.) Election Day voting is available from six a-m to six p-m tomorrow, with 13 vote centers available in Knox County.
